SAN PEDRITO SOUTH
Just steps away from La Alianza Baja you’ll find this secluded stretch of beach where you can enjoy a long peaceful beach walk. This 3 mile stretch of beach provides La Alianza visitors with beautiful ocean views, including spectacular sunsets over the ocean. During whale season (February and January) whales can be seen breaching just off-shore. Fall asleep at night to the soothing sounds of waves which can be heard from your room at La Alianza.
SAN PEDRITO SURF SPOT
This is a world-class surf spot which is good for mostly intermediate to advanced surfers. This rocky/reefy point breaks predominantly right but often there will be some lefts as well. San Pedrito breaks best on winter swells (November -April). San Pedrito surf spot is walking distance from La Alianza. Just walk north up the beach and you can’t miss it.
PLAYA LOS CERRITOS
This sandy-bottom swimming and surfing beach is one of the best beaches in Baja. Fun for the whole family. Surf lessons, equipment rental, boogie boarding, restaurant, sometimes live music on the beach and more…. You can rent beach umbrellas and beach chairs, and even get a massage on this action-packed beach. Sundays are the most crowded day. The surf instructors at this beach are mostly very experienced with giving lessons. This break includes lefts and rights (most days) and breaks nicely off-and-on all day long. Usually there is not much problem with the wind ruining the surf at this surf spot. You can take the beach road along the coast from La Alianza to Playa los Cerritos or you can take the turn off marked from Highway 19 … between km 64-65.
LAS PALMAS
Walk through a beautiful palm grove to get to Playa Las Palmas which has a very secluded peaceful feel. Swimming is okay here… but always be careful of possible currents… especially when the swell is a little bigger. Turn-off at km 57 from HWY 19 (the turn off is about halfway to Todos Santos.)
HIDDEN PORT
If you are up for a long hike you can adventure your way to this secluded beach. Hike up a mountain and then traverse back down into this hidden cove. The beach is rocky and filled with pebbles. Turn-off from HWY 19 is just about 1/2 mile before Todos Santos.
